I am an environmental engineer from Escola Politécnica at Universidade de São Paulo (USP) (2015), hold a Master of Science (2018) from the same institution with an internship at Leibniz Universität Hannover (LUH), Germany.

I received my Ph.D. in 2021 from the Graduate Program of Mineral Engineering at Escola Politécnica da Universidade de São Paulo (USP) with a period as a visiting student at the School of Earth and Environmental Sciences and in the Centre for Biodiversity and Conservation Science at the University of Queensland (UQ), Australia.

 

Jointly with different research groups, specialists, and members from civil society organizations, I developed projects in the environmental impact assessment of policies, plans, and projects, focusing on formulating policy-relevant scenarios to support more sustainable decision-making.

Currently, Juliana is Assistant Professor at Escola Politécnica at University of São Paulo.​
